AI Disclosure

The PumpCal Coach, meal-photo analysis, nutrition-label reading and the spoken voice are powered by artificial-intelligence models operated by third-party providers.

• Responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for you.
• The Coach is not a doctor, physiotherapist or dietitian, and its output is not professional advice.
• It only knows what you have entered or connected, and what is on the screen you asked about.
• It cannot see your technique, your equipment or your environment.

When you ask the Coach a question, analyse a meal photo or scan a label, the relevant content — your message, the current exercise or meal context, and the image where applicable — is sent to model providers through the AI gateway operated by our infrastructure provider, Lovable Labs Incorporated, which routes requests to providers including OpenAI and Google. Coach replies are read aloud by a text-to-speech model and streamed to your device.

Voice input uses your device's or browser's built-in speech recognition, which on some devices is performed by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies before the text reaches PumpCal.

Your Coach conversations, photos, voice input, nutrition entries and health data are not used to train our AI models, and we do not authorise our providers to use them to train theirs under the API terms we use. Providers may retain content briefly for abuse monitoring under their own policies.

Do not rely on AI output for emergencies or high-risk decisions, including medical symptoms, medication, injury management, or whether a food is safe for an allergy. Verify anything important with a qualified professional.

Training plans, progression, deloads, readiness and progress statistics are produced by explicit rules, not by a language model. Where a number is shown without enough underlying data, PumpCal says so rather than estimating.
